I have started writing this post countless times... but then never get around to finishing it.
I feel overwhelmed thinking about trying to catch up on all of the time that I have been in hiding from my blog. A couple days turned into a couple weeks, then a couple months... next thing I knew it had been WAY too long since I last wrote.
Lately I have caught myself coming back to my blog looking at old posts. Mostly, I am looking at posts about Libby Anne and comparing them to our new precious little girl, Emily Claire. How big was Libby Anne at 1 month? Did Libby Anne have as much hair as Emily Claire does, or was she as chunky as Emily Claire is? Then I get sad. Sad because I haven't been documenting Emily Claire's firsts like I did Libby Anne, because I haven't been sharing pictures and stories like I did before.
So I have decided to try. I am not making any promises, but I want to make an effort to post whenever I can find a free moment. I want to be able to look back at all the pictures and stories about Emily Claire too.
I won't be able to cover everything that has happened since I last posted, but maybe a few things will pop up here and there. I will just touch on the main highlight...
Emily Claire was born on June 4 2013 at 6:15pm. She weighed 5 lbs 12 oz and was 19 inches long. She made her appearance at 37 weeks and came very quickly, just like her sister. (I will work on a birth story with more details... at some point.)
