What is this stuff?

After a great night of sleep last night (from 7:30pm to 5:45am!!!), Libby Anne was in a very good mood this morning.  We decided to go ahead and try cereal for the first time.

She didn't seem to like it at all.  Libby Anne seemed interested in the spoon, and kept opening her mouth for the cereal.  However, I don't think she ended up eating any of it; all the cereal ended up down her chin and on her bib.

Oh well.  We tried.  In a couple days we will try again.

Libby Anne and I had a busy day today filled with laundry, cleaning, running errands, and visiting Daddy at work.  She is so sweet and so much fun to spend the day with.

What an amazing day!

Today is Tuesday... which means it is a Family Fun Day for us!  We had an amazing day together today.

Libby Anne and I ventured out early to try to find a couple things for our special adventure today, but it wasn't a successful trip.  However, we did bring Daddy breakfast home!

Once we got home and ate breakfast, we packed everything up and headed out to meet Brook and the girls.

After making a stop on the way to pick up some necessities, we arrived at the Smith Aquatic and Fitness Center to take Libby Anne swimming!  Libby Anne got dressed in her new swim diapers and bathing suit and was ready to go.

Libby Anne had such a fun time swimming!   She smiled and laughed and splashed.  It was wonderful to have that experience and share it not only with Rick, but with Brook and the girls as well.  All the excitement wore Libby Anne out.  She feel sound asleep when we left.

After our swimming adventure, we went to the Downtown Mall for lunch and frozen yogurt.

It was such a fantastic day!  Thank you Brook, Anne Charlotte, Sarah Beth, and Lila Kate, for sharing the day with us and playing with Libby Anne in the pool.

Growing up

This morning was a sad morning for me...  I will admit, I had to wipe a tear or two from my eyes.

Libby Anne is wearing her first 3-6 month outfit.  My baby girl is growing way too quickly!

She did it!

We just got home from Richmond and Libby Anne woke up after a nap all the way home.  We were playing with her and talking to her in our room.  I had her on her tummy and she rolled over to her back for the first time!

I am so excited that Rick and I were both there to witness it and cheer her on.  One of my biggest fears about being a working mom is that I will miss out on so much with Libby Anne, like her milestones.  I knew she would probably be rolling over sometime soon because it is about that time, so I have been trying to do some extra tummy time when I am with her.. just hoping that she would roll over with me instead of when I am at work.  And she did!  Better yet, she did for me AND Rick!  YAY!
