Family Fun Day trip to Lynchburg

The weather wasn't looking promising for the pool, so we decided at the last minute to take a trip to Lynchburg.   Libby Anne had so much fun at Amazement Square last time, so we thought it was a good day to take her back. 

These steps light up as you walk on them.  Libby Anne likes either saying what color it is or counting as she steps up or down.  Such a smart girl! 

Libby Anne's favorite activity is this ball funnel.  You put the golf balls in the top and they go round and round until they reach the bottom, where they pop off the track.  Libby Anne chases the balls around, running in circles and giggling.  She would do this all day if we let her.

Emily Claire found a light that she liked.  She kept smiling at it.  

 Another favorite for Libby Anne is the boats.  Anything with water, and Libby Anne loves it.

Our trip was abruptly cut short right after this when Emily Claire decided to make quite a mess. 

We will definitely be going back to Amazement Square often.  We have so much fun together and we often get to grab a quick dinner with Marmee and "Silly Papa"!
