13 Weeks

I have to start off by saying that I have the absolute best husband ever. I am so thankful. Rick has been amazing as I have been so sick the past week. He brings me a cold cloth and ice water.. and he even cleans up after me (GROSS!). I don't know what I would do without him.

How big is baby?: the size of a peach or a large shrimp

Maternity clothes?: I am down 9 lbs now, but my normal pants are still snug. I have one pair of maternity capris that I have been wearing on warm days. They are super comfy!

Sleep?: not so great.

Best moment this week?: sharing the news

Food cravings: none

Food aversions?: Still everything

Gender?: About 9 more weeks before we find out.

Movement?: Too early

Belly button?: no change

Symptoms?: Things have gotten worse this week for some reason. I still feel nauseous all the time (but worse than before), violently puking, horrible constipation... it has been lovely (insert sarcasm here)

What do I miss?: eating and enjoying food

What I'm looking forward to this week?: I have an appointment on Monday with Dr Culver (Dr Carr is on vacation). If I am still sick then, I am hoping he will have some miracle remedy because I can't handle this much longer.

Milestones?: Fingerprints have formed on your baby's tiny fingertips, her veins and organs are clearly visible through her still-thin skin, and her body is starting to catch up with her head — which makes up just a third of her body size now. If you're having a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Your baby is almost 3 inches long (the size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly an ounce.
